Sadly we are requesting donations ONLY this year for:
THE ‘MAGPAS Air ambulance Future 50 APPEAL
Magpas Air Ambulance does not receive regular state funding. They can only continue to provide lifesaving care thanks to the generous donations of supporters.
Bringing the very best pre-hospital emergency care—in the air or on land—to the communities of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and the East of England
Magpas Air Ambulance operates 24/7 and answers, on average, four calls for help a day, treating around 900 patients in life-threatening emergencies every year. The team is dispatched by both the East of England and the East Midlands Ambulance Service Trusts, caring for a population of over 10 million.
Magpas Air Ambulance launched their Future 50 Appeal to fund the new airbase at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket in 2021, in the presence of their Royal Patron, HRH The Princess Royal.
Construction on the £7.6m project begun in 2022, and is due to be operational in 2023. The Future 50 Appeal still needs to raise the remaining £2m to complete the build!
